hello 2010 (:

i finally lived my fantasy prom dream. it wasn't the beautiful flowers i got, it wasn't the pretty dress i was wearing.. it was because shi kun was my date to the comms ball! im not saying my 06 prom sucked, it was awesome too! going with henfests was sth i would asking nothing more for (:

i like babykins friends. they're funny and nice (: and as for babykins, i know i've said it for like a gazillion times, but i still think it's not enough; i love you (: for being so sweet, so thoughtful, so caring, so understanding.. for everything and anything, thank you shi kun. for being part of my life, for making me so utterly blessed and the luckiest girl in the world. ♥

spent my xmas with oinky and munchkins. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OINK! yes, oinky's finally 7! spent the day chill-laxing and bringing ah ma for a walk. my gramps is simply the cutest i tell you, like you dunno how cute is cute. hahas! she was so distress when fiona and i brought her to kovan, that it seemed like we kidnapped our very own gramps lol. baked brownies for what seemed to be for a whole entire kampong and alvin actually believe i was gonna make rounds giving them out since it was christmas. HAHA :D

30th dec 09 was a nice day (: henfest xmas cum new year's party. thi s year's theme was white and i felt like i was in heaven cos everyone looked like angels. well, the girls actually :P

everyone being fashionably late. hahas. fiona says birds of the same flock stick together. yes, we have bad traits but till uberly awesome k.. :D too bad jiayuan wasn't there. i miss you, sweetie! speaking of sweet, 4 nice ppl were nice to join in the henfest-ians big family. fiona, susie, sherwin, shi kun and joseph. hope each and everyone of you enjoyed yourselves! i know the food's not much, the games were pretty lame and the environment was warm.. but still! hahahahahahas! please forgive me, xie xie ni (:

and for new year's eve yesterday, i counted down at darby's auntie's house. awesome food i tell you, awesomeeeeeeeeeeee. and his relatives were really nice. damn, im lucky (: speaking of lucky, we won the biggest prize money for bingo! HAHA! :D

headed back to my place after countdown and darby said i died almost immediately after hitting my bed. oh dear.. hahas.. blame it on attachment! :D or maybe it's because i have a very nice bolster :D :D

and today was the first day of 2010, i am having attachment -.- lol, not that it's a bad thing, but still.. i guess im used to having my public holidays even if im not doing much. heh.

hiatus no more

ok, it's been awhile. hiatus, lazyness, whatever.. im back. heh (:

it's gonna burn a hole in my brain thinking back on what i did, so make do with the stuff im gonna write yeah? thank you very much :D

the week before attachments was good. let's start off with steamboat on wednesday night with stacy and jenny. food was pretty good and company was obviously superb. the ppl there though, are abit.. erm.. ok i know im mean but i still have to say this. they're weird. why? they think coke and ke le are two different beverages. like WTH!! -.-

thursday, was a day at the botanics. huiming, audrey, kimy and me went there for a picnic. along with snowy and scrubby. aww! hahas! food was good, animals were adorable and the company was awesome as always. should have brought some stuff to play though. but the pets basically kept us entertained. snowy kept running away to god-knows-where to do god-knows-what and scrubby was just damn cute! scurried here and there, and fell asleep suddenly in kimy's hands. AWWWWWWWWW!! :D

due to the change in weather, we had an impromptu movie date too. headed down to cine to catch new moon. i wont say it's a die die must watch movie, but.. it's worth a shot. drool all you want over taylor launter's 8 pacs (yes! i counted! HAHA) but shi kun's hottie factor still wins taylor hands down! heehee, ok i know no one asked for my opinion :P

went to a hamster xmas party on saturday. kimy's lil hamster gang of hamster owners. the food there was DAMN NICE! i just stuffed myself silly, but dont worry i was still minding my manners. the pets there were dammmmmmmmmmn cute can! this lil maltese named belle was definitely the highlight of the party and of course, scrubby and shana (DUH, kimy's babies what :D) belle's a lil special maltese. when i say lil, i really mean lil. she's like the size of 5 big hamsters when she's already 2 years old! reason being? she has a heart problem, making her all the more precious to me. to kimy. to spenser and every other living thing in the living room. cos she's just so damn precious!! okok, i think you get the point hahas.. :D

was supposed to run the full sc marathon on sunday, but darby wont let me cos he was confined. i'll say it's a blessing in disguise cos i was a lil scared i'll just die the next day on attachment due to pure exhaustion. so im gonna give yu ye a round of applause for being so strong! *CLAP CLAP CLAP* (: so much better than a wimp like me can hahas..

ok, attachments i say? yes, attachments have started. a gruelling long 3 months i pictured it out to be, is slowly becoming much more easier to endure with each passing day at ward 9d. the staff there are really really nice. they make life during attachment much more bearable. the nurse manager there is a lil cranky and nagging like 99.9999999999% of the time, but i still think she's nice. (ok, mostly because she changed my schedule for me but still! nice ok :P)

im not saying it's gonna be easy peasy leomon squeezy, but at least i know im gonna survive working with ppl like the staff of 9d. awesome ppl they are yes yes! cant wait to work with my preceptor soon! cos lucky me, she's nice (: but im also gonna need to have the competency to perform well laa.. i know i can do it. darby knows i can do it. henfests know i can do it. i know i can do it (:

first week ended well with a lovely weekend with darby and his family. saturday to flyer and kick-ass good seafood, and sunday to movie with an unexpected surprise with darby dearest. silly boy of mine, bought me my second daniel yam dress. AWWWWWWWWW!! it wasn't because i had no dress for the upcoming comms ball, but because he just wanted to spoil me silly. know what shi kun? you're doing a very good job. but dont splurge so much again k? i'll still love you many many even if you gave me a flower from the pavement. cos everything from you, by you, of you.. means the world to me. now dont you forget that (:

out with sherwin and sw for ayam penyet for a dinner date in town ytd. so lame la! ayam penyet is all i think, smell, drool and crave about when i go orchard now -.- im seriously gonna be obese soon. but nvm, shi kun will still carry me. he promised! :Dv

walked to PS and bought bubble tea on the way. i was tired from being on morning shift for attachments, but sherwin and sw just gave me the unexplainable strength to laugh and gay around. i think friends have like secret super powers that help us do unexplainable happy things. cant wait to see siti and stacy on tmr now that i've said this! :D jenny chan, mabel lim and lim jia yuan! you three better meet me soon before i go to your house and attack you with hugs. mwahahahahahahahaa! :DD

just came back from an outing with munchkins and sus. buffet lunch at hotpot. munchkins was the culprit for 2/3 of the sotongs we ordered and i was the dumbass that ordered the weird shit prawn paste chicken that tasted and looked nothing like the one we always eat. ewww..

we wrote on the lil white balls after lunch. i'd like to thank stacy jenny mabel and siti was being so uberly uberly sweet for dedicating one for henfest and whichever sucker that wrote "cristal's attachment to end on a happy note" i seriously went AWW!! and teared la! so so sweet can (:

tmr's an important day. im gonna bring a hanky least i drool all over safti's parade square. aiieeeee!! :D

update the outdate

ok, before this news turns mouldy.. the quest was alright only. the prizes weren't such a big hoo-ha i thought they would be so ya.. /: but but! i really enjoyed the games. i thought we bonded as a team really well. i like that feeling of togetherness (:

popeye for lunch was the main highlight of the day actually. since it was our only source of motivation to carry on until the end. the prizes were not worth our enthusiasm. tsk!

the next afternoon was spent helping sw's childcare centre with their graduation day. the kids are so so adorable. i miss being a kid. so carefree, so innocent, so.. everything an adult wont be able to enjoy. then again.. being an adult ain't so bad after all. it's all about the coping part no?

so anyways, i did things that day that i would never do/ or barely done my whole life. i helped the kids with make-up and gel-ing of their hair. i know! so ironic huh? but i really enjoyed myself dolling them up. they're just so so adorable, i tell you. so so adorable. (:

life tends to make a fool out of us most of the times. darby injured his knee on sunday and was given 4 days mc. guess what? i was working for all days, and 3 were full. wth right? -.- but we figured something out for the weekend. that's us, if life gives us lemons.. we make lemonade! :D gosh, i miss him already (:

went to escape with kimy, spenser and audrey on monday. let me tell you, escape ought to just close down. seriously. it's pathetic laa.. damn, cant wait to go overseas. hope the proposal with munchkins will be approved! :D

just came back from steamboat with jenny and stacy. im damn full now. i think my extra fats accumulated from pigging out during the hols are gonna jiggle with me through the marathon on sunday. DONT PLAY PLAY HOR! im gonna try and complete 42.195km on sunday! with my darling baby beside me. aww! (:

tit's 19th

recap on last week. out with sherwin sw and stacy to IMM on friday. dinner at mos burger was funny and embarrassing. but hey, what's new? :D

and on saturday, i was brutally whacked by the piniata stick by a lil kid during party planning. WEHHHHHHHHHHHHH. also, he was the first kid to boss me around after the countless parties i've done. it all started when i was doing my usual rountine of introducing the first game and he went like "NO! today's MY BIRTHDAY. im the BIRTHDAY BOY. so you have to play MY games!" gg.. how could i say no? he IS after all, the son of the ppl who are paying me the big bucks to this gig, so i just kept quiet. all his friends couldn't understand his instructions which got him even mad, so thankfully his mummykins intervened. phew!

headed down to darby's after the party for a bbq session with the guys. i must say zaniel's really good with food. but it's scary how they test the food to see if it's edible. i think i ate like 2 uncooked food. no surprise if i told you i had diarrhoea the following morning lol. :D but the worst thing wasn't that. it was lowsie and zaniel constant sexual harrassment to darby. like seriously! tsk!

and to continue with the previous post.. yes, jenny ought to have more free sundays. stacy, jenny and i headed down to yishun for an afternoon of exploring. armed with food, water and reading materials, we headed down to bottletree park and spent a lazy afternoon reading and taking photos. the photo-taking part was like a work-out man. seriously. hahahahahas! and the jump shots were just a tummy-achin session. heh :D headed to amk for dinner with keryn at MOF. the food and dessert are just alllrightttt laa.. hahas, my alright seems pretty forceful.

anyways, we took the circle line home, which reminds me how stacy and jenny took a bet with me to see who could reach yio chu kang first cos i was very stubborn about circle line not making much of a difference. and so i took the normal route via the ns line and they, the circle line. ok they won, and i've already paid my debt of 2 pearly soya to them. haha! oh stacy and i still owe jenny one cup. DAMMIT.

then came monday. HAPPY 19th TITS!! yes! how could you forget that you can travel with friends now? HOW?!! ok, i dunno why i seem more excited than her. hahas.. another henfest outing, with the boyfriend union. i promise shi kun will join us more often once he ORD. (: thai express was filled with laughter, endless chatter and not even the food could quiet us down. expected outcome when put bffs together. it was really nice. sherwin SO should have came along to make it nicer.

oh oh!! and the quest is this saturday. AIEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, we've yet to come up with a group name. cos they're gonna announce it when WE WIN. HAHA! okok.. stop it. heehee (:
